TDH delivers the PVT Cell system to NIPI – Vietsovpetro

TDH Hi-Tech has successfully completed the supply and installation of the PVT Cell 400 ml – 1000 bar Full Visibility system from Core Lab for the Petroleum Scientific Research Institute (NIPI) under Vietsovpetro. This is one of the most advanced PVT analysis instruments, reaffirming TDH’s capability in executing large-scale projects with high technical requirements.

An Advanced Tool for Petroleum Research

The PVT Cell system is a core instrument for studying the Pressure–Volume–Temperature (PVT) properties of crude oil and natural gas. With a sample volume of 400 ml and a working pressure capacity of up to 1000 bar, the system can accurately simulate deep reservoir conditions, enabling a wide range of critical experiments such as:

  • Swelling Test

  • Constant Composition Expansion (CCE)

  • Differential Liberation

  • Separator Test, among others.

The key distinction of this version lies in its full visibility design, allowing direct observation of physical changes throughout the entire testing process – an advantage that very few PVT systems currently provide.

Value Beyond Investment

Although this is a high-value investment instrument, the benefits it brings to NIPI are far greater:

  • Enhances the institute’s capability for advanced scientific research in the field of oil and gas.

  • Provides reliable data for design, production, and processing in petroleum operations.

  • Positions NIPI among the very few laboratories worldwide capable of operating such a large-scale PVT Cell system.

TDH – A Bridge for International Technology

The successful delivery of the PVT Cell system to NIPI once again reinforces TDH’s role as a trusted bridge between the world’s leading oil and gas equipment manufacturers and clients in Vietnam. It also demonstrates our long-term commitment to delivering advanced technology solutions and sustainable value to the petroleum industry.

With this project, TDH reaffirms its position as a capable provider, fully qualified to implement and supply complex, world-class petroleum research systems.
