TDH partners with Vietsovpetro – NIPI to deploy the Autoclaves system from Cortest

TDH Hi-Tech is proud to have successfully supplied and implemented the Autoclaves, manufactured by Cortest (USA), for the Petroleum Scientific Research and Design Institute (NIPI) under Vietsovpetro. This is one of the most critical instruments for studying corrosion behavior under high-pressure and high-temperature (HPHT) conditions.

Autoclaves – A Core Instrument in Corrosion Research

Autoclaves are designed to accurately simulate the harsh environments of oil and gas production, where materials are subjected to high pressure, high temperature, and the effects of corrosive gases such as H₂S, CO₂, and O₂.

  • Recreates real-world field conditions in a laboratory setting.

  • Enables corrosion testing and evaluation of corrosion inhibitors.

  • Supports research on the durability of materials, alloys, and protective coatings for oil and gas production.

World-Class Equipment – Beyond the Reach of Most Laboratories

The Autoclaves system from Cortest represents a major investment and requires complex expertise in installation and operation. In fact, only a very limited number of specialized corrosion laboratories worldwide are equipped with this technology.

TDH – From Concept to Reality

In this project, TDH accompanied NIPI from the very beginning:

  • Conducted needs assessment and provided tailored consulting for research objectives.

  • Proposed the most suitable Autoclaves configuration from Cortest, meeting testing requirements in Vietnam.

  • Supplied, installed, and supported commissioning, ensuring stable and reliable system performance.

👉 The introduction of Cortest Autoclaves into the laboratory of the Petroleum Scientific Research and Design Institute (NIPI) marks a significant milestone, enhancing Vietnam’s corrosion research capabilities while reaffirming TDH’s commitment to bringing advanced international technology solutions to local customers.
